Better Vent is a native mobile app for iOS and Android that provides emotional support through biblical scriptures. Users speak their thoughts using on-device voice recognition, and the app matches their emotions to relevant KJV Bible verses using a sophisticated multi-factor scoring algorithm that considers word frequency, emotion themes, comfort patterns, and content quality. The iOS version also includes an ML-based semantic matching approach using Apple NaturalLanguage word embeddings for side-by-side comparison with the traditional algorithm. All processing happens on-device for complete privacy.
