Forge — Privacy Policy

Last updated August 18, 2026

Privacy-first by design

Our Privacy Commitment

Forge is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect advertising identifiers or behavioral profiles. We do not collect analytics. Your app data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync, export, or send a support request.

1. Information We Don't Collect

Forge is built with a privacy-first approach. We specifically do NOT collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, address), except what you voluntarily include in a support message
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Contacts or phone numbers
  • Financial information

2. Data Storage

All data you create within Forge is stored:

  • Locally on your device - Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync, export, or send it for support
  • In your private iCloud - If you enable iCloud sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account, protected by Apple's security

3. iCloud Sync

Forge may offer optional iCloud synchronization. When enabled:

  • Data is synced to your personal Apple iCloud account
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Apple's encryption
  • We have no access to your iCloud data
  • You can disable sync at any time in your device settings

4. Support Requests and Question Reports

Support messages are optional and are only sent when you choose to contact us.

5. Third-Party Services

Forge does not include:

  • Third-party analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
  • Advertising networks
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Advertising or social tracking pixels

6. On-Device Processing

Features like AI summaries, voice transcription, and data analysis happen entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning. No data is sent to external servers for processing.

7. Children's Privacy

Forge does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Optional support reports should be sent by a parent, guardian, or other responsible user when needed.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored on your device or in your personal iCloud account, you have complete control over deletion. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be removed through your Apple iCloud settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
