Forged Men — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Don't Collect

Forged Men is built with a privacy-first approach. We specifically do NOT collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address), except what you voluntarily include in a support message
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Location data
• Device identifiers for advertising
• Contacts or phone numbers
• Financial information

2. Data Storage

All data you create within Forged Men is stored:

• Locally on your device - Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync, export, or send it for support
• On-device journal, KVS-only partner flags — Journal text, prayer requests, and private commitment notes stay on this device. Optional Brotherhood sync uses iCloud Key-Value Store for check-in flags only

3. Journal Text and Partner Flags

Journal entries, prayer requests, and private commitment notes are stored on your device. Forged Men does not sync that writing to iCloud or to Stuart Technologies. Optional Brotherhood accountability uses iCloud Key-Value Store and shares only check-in flags:

• Partner code, display name, last check-in date, and prayed/read flags
• Never journal text, prayer request wording, or private commitment notes
• Both devices need iCloud signed in and the same partner code
• You can turn accountability off at any time; we have no access to your Key-Value Store data

4. Support Requests and Question Reports

Support messages are optional and are only sent when you choose to contact us.

5. Third-Party Services

Forged Men does not include:

• Third-party analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Social media tracking pixels
• Advertising or social tracking pixels

6. On-Device Processing

Forged Men does not use AI summaries, cloud language models, or off-device analysis of your writing. Journal text and other content you enter stay on this device unless you export them.

7. Children's Privacy

Forged Men does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Optional support reports should be sent by a parent, guardian, or other responsible user when needed.

8. Data Deletion

Uninstalling Forged Men removes local journal text, prayer requests, and private notes. Optional partner flags stored in iCloud Key-Value Store can be cleared by signing out of iCloud for the app or through your Apple iCloud settings. You can request deletion of support messages you sent by contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
